Sex on the beach cocktail

Preparation -: 5 mins

Combine vodka and cranberry juice to make a classic sex on the beach cocktail. Garnish with cocktail cherries and orange slices

Ingredients

  • Ice
  • 50ml vodka
  • 2 oranges, juiced, plus 2 slices to garnish
  • 50ml cranberry juice
  • glacĂ© cherries, to garnish (optional)

Method
  1. Fill two tall glasses with ice cubes. Pour the vodka and fruit juices into a large jug and stir.
  2. Divide the mixture between the two glasses and stir gently to combine. Garnish with the cocktail cherries and orange slices.

Gin gimlet - bombay sapphire

Preparation -: 5 mins


Gin (or vodka, if you must), lime, and simple syrup. That's it! It's a perfectly balanced gin sour that's equally appropriate for a poker night at home.

Ingredients

  • 60 ml gin
  • 30 ml lime juice, freshly squeezed
  • 30 ml simple syrup
  • Garnish: lime wheel

Method
  1. Add the gin, lime juice and simple syrup to a shaker with ice and shake until well-chilled.
  2. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass or a rocks glass filled with fresh ice.
  3. Garnish with a lime wheel.

Whiskey Sour - Whiskey

Preparation -: 5 mins


Ingredients

  • 60 ml bourbon/ whiskey
  • 5 ml lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 15 ml simple syrup
  • 15 ml egg white (optional)
  • Garnish: lime or orange rind/ slice

Method
  1. Add bourbon/ whiskey, lemon juice, simple syrup and egg white, if using, to a shaker and dry-shake for 30 seconds without ice.
  2. Add ice and shake again until well-chilled.
  3. Pour through a fine strainer into a glass.
  4. To serve, add 3-4 lime or orange rind/ slice.

Sangria Punch with The Glenlivet

Ingredients

  • The Glenlivet 30 ml
  • Lemon Juice 10 ml
  • Cinnamon Black Tea Syrup 10 ml
  • Red Wine 60 ml
  • Lemon & Orange Wheels (for Garnish)

Method
  1. Combine all ingredients within a punch bowl.
  2. Add ice and stir to combine.
  3. Garnish with lemon and orange wheels for a seasonal touch.
